Oiva Health Enters the Norwegian Welfare Market

Oiva Health, a leading Nordic provider of digital care platform, enters the Norwegian welfare market with the launch of a new subsidiary. This move aligns with Oiva Health’s commitment to transform Norway’s renowned welfare system by introducing an innovative digital home care service model.

The Norwegian welfare system places a strong emphasis on delivering home-based care to its population, especially as the need for long-term care increases. Oiva Health sees an opportunity to fill gaps in existing services by introducing a scalable Oiva Care – digital home care service that is easy to implement and integrate with Norway’s established welfare framework.

This digital home care model is expected to not only improve patient outcomes but also create cost efficiencies for welfare providers and municipalities by transferring physical home care visits to digital visits and by optimizing care resources.

Based on the Oiva Health data models built in Finland over the last 10 years, implementing Digital Home Care service to Norwegian home care segment has over 10 billion NOK annual cost saving potential in home care expenses in Norway.

Today Oiva Care platform is already widely used especially in Finland and Denmark with over 2 million digital home care visits completed annually.
